Meet ‘Jennifer’: Quite possibly the world’s first hockey-playing humanoid robot
This hockey player doesn’t use pads and plays without the fear of concussions. What is believed to be the world’s first hockey-playing robotic humanoid has been born from a project based at the University of Manitoba.

While there are many improvements on the horizon for the robotic player, its progress so far is impressive. It is currently able to shoot a ball with a hockey stick and slowly shuffle along the ice on skates that were added to the humanoid robot, which is from Korea-based Robotis.
