‘The cabbie must’ve wanted to shrug him off, but he drove right into him’: Witness recounts skateboarder’s death
Ben Drory was waiting in a bus shelter on King Street Monday evening at about 6 p.m. when he saw a silver taxi driving west, with a skateboarder hanging onto the left side of the vehicle.
“They were both in motion at a pretty high speed,” he said. “The skateboarder was rapping onto the windows pretty aggressively.”
Moments later the skateboarder, 28-year-old Ralph Bissonnette, was dead on the curb and the driver was on his way to being charged with second-degree murder.
