Canada’s most expensive condo bought for $28 millionIt’s only a construction site at the moment, but when a mystery foreign buyer takes possession of the 55th floor of a downtown Toronto condominium in the summer of 2012, it will be for $28-million, the most expensive penthouse in Canadian history.What the purchaser can expect for the nearly $3,100 per square foot price are panoramic views of the city skyline through 12-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and 9,038 square feet of living space at the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences project.The penthouse features direct elevator access from three elevators, an outdoor terrace on each of its four corners, and private on-site staff housing in an adjacent tower.Occupying much of the proposed floor plan, which the buyer may choose to adjust, is a spacious master bedroom with ensuite washroom, two guest bedrooms, his and hers matching libraries, a living room, a formal dining room with seating for 14 and an attached service area, a kitchen/family room, galleria and a home theatre.Also included is plenty of storage and closet space, a wine cellar, a laundry room and six washrooms.
