Ryan Gosling, Bryan Adams petition against McDonald’s
Hey girl, Ryan Gosling wants McDonald’s to stop using “battery cage” suppliers to source their eggs.And he’s not the only one, animal-loving celebs including Zooey Deschanel, Emily Deschanel, Alicia Silverstone, Ed Begley, Jr., Bryan Adams and, um, Steve-O all signed a letter sent to McD’s CEO Jim Skinner on behalf of the Mercy for Animals campaign.
The MFA recently exposed the factory farming system the clown company’s egg supplier’s use — where animals are often packed into cages so small they can barely
breadspread their wings, never mind move.
This year’s crop of seasonal albums is traditional indeed. It offers old chestnuts sung straight by soberly clad Canadian crooners, a clean-cut indie darling duo and even a reformed grunge hellion.
