Steve ‘Spidey’ Murray, does what a spider can
When the Make-A-Wish Foundation asked National Post illustrator and humour writer Steve Murray if he would like to rappel off the top of city hall, he agreed, on one condition: that he be allowed to dress as Spider-Man.
And, given his firm, athletic build and unsurpassed fearlessness, the costume was an appropriate choice.
Mr. Murray will have plenty more to say, and draw, about the adventure in Wednesday’s National Post, but for now he describes it thusly: “It was no big deal and I’ll never do it again.”
In the meantime, catch video of our very own Spider-Man.
