Prison couldn’t keep Michael Wayne McGray from killing — just like he said it wouldn’t
Usually when serial killers are caught, they are locked up for good and the public can take comfort they will never kill again. Not Michael Wayne McGray.
On Monday, he was sentenced to his seventh life term for first-degree murder, a strangulation as cold-blooded as the previous six killings with one difference: This time he committed murder while imprisoned for his other crimes.
“It’s something that builds up, and gets stronger and stronger and stronger over the months. It starts out like an urge, but then it’s so strong in the end that it’s almost like a hunger. It’s something I need…. When I kill it’s a big high for me.”
This is why I am for the death penalty.
