Stress getting to Italian politicians
Italian parliamentarians literally went at each others’ throats as tense negotiations over severe new austerity reforms boiled over into a governmental brawl Wednesday.

Deputies from the Northern League, part of the ruling coalition, fought with members from the opposition FLI party of speaker Gianfranco Fini, grabbing each other by the throat as other party members rushed to break up the fight, Reuters reported from Rome. (Photo: Ansa/Giuseppe Lami/Reuters)
